DescriptionLidded bowl with a depiction of Rome burning. One triumphal arch is ablaze, and a blue glaze, representing the Tiber River, runs through center of lid. In a mountain grouping, a cream colored, seated frog plays the fiddle. The ribbed bowl is painted on the exterior with mottled brown and gold; the interior is green.
