DescriptionThis glass sculpture is in the form of an oystercatcher with a long neck and elongated body. The bird is stylized, with traditional Tlingit designs carved into its chest and belly. The surface of the body is frosted, except for the designs which appear in clear glass. On the bird's back is a small carved animal. The bird is a warm light brown color, with the beak in orange and the additional animal in blue-green.
