DescriptionLarge quilt in the shape of a kimono or robe. It depicts a brightly colored landscape with flowers in green, blue, yellow, red, white, and pink. There are layers of fabric swatches with textured edges to give a slightly three-dimensional quality to the piece. Slits in the top layers of fabric reveal the stitched purple interior fabric. The use of fabric layering resembles dabs of paint on a canvas.
