BiographyEarl Pardon was a remarkably well-rounded artist. He was a painter, sculptor, industrial designer, and jeweler. In addition to his artistry, Pardon was an influential teacher at Skidmore College from 1951 to 1990, where he was chair of the art department for twelve years. There, he created the jewelry and enamel program. He was a pioneer in the American studio jewelry movement.
