Michael Petry

After graduating college in Houston, Texas in 1981, Michael Petry moved to London. He co-founded the Media Arts Group to bring together live performance with visual art. Michael Petry is best known for his work in installation art, but he has also made contributions to the field of performance art. He co-founded the Museum of Installation in London in 1990 and continues as its co-director. In 1996, he founded the Museum of Contemporary Art, London.
