Geert LapThe Netherlands, b. 1951
Geert Lap has been an independent ceramist since his schooling at the Koninklijke Akademie voor Kunst en Vormgeving and the Gerrit Rietveld Academy, both in the Netherlands. In addition to making his one-of-a-kind pieces, he has also produced several designs for Cor Unum, a Dutch contemporary ceramics manufacturer. Lap lectures throughout the Netherlands and lives and works in Amsterdam.
