Paul Villinski
Born in York, Maine in 1960, Paul Villinski attended Phillips Exeter Academy and the Massachusetts College of Art before moving to New York City in 1982. Villinski earned a BFA with honors from the Cooper Union in 1984, and he continues to live and work in New York City today.
Paul Villinski has participated in over ninety exhibitions, most recently at the Hillwood Art Museum of Hofstra College, Hempstead, New York; Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Jonathan Ferrara Gallery, New Orleans; and Morgan Lehman Gallery, New York. He was the recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts fellowship grant in 1987. Villinski has been an artist-in-resident at the Millay Colony, Austerlitz, New York; the Ucross Foundation, Clearmont, Wyoming; the Djerassi Resident Artists Program, Woodside, California; and the Villa Montalvo Arts Center, Saratoga, California.
