Natasha Muradova

Natasha Muradova graduated from the Moscow Textile Institute in 1971 and began work as a tapestry artist, creating wall hangings and theater curtains for large-scale public commissions. She was introduced to quilting on a trip to the United States in the 1990s and assimilated this technique into her own collage-like three-dimensional style. Her pieces are now in major collections in Russia and throughout the world.
