Teri Greeves

Teri Greeves is of Kiowa heritage, but she was raised on the Shoshone and Northern Arapaho Wind River Reservation in Wyoming. Her grandmother was a beader and she began beading as a young girl, at the age of eight. Her mother operated a trading post specializing in beadwork where Greeves learned about different kinds of beadwork. Since her first commission of beadwork in college, she has become known for combining traditional beading techniques with contemporary themes.
