Michael Geertsen

Michael Geertsen learned pottery as an apprentice for four years before studying design, specifically ceramics and glass, at art school. In addition to the one-off studio ceramic pieces, for which he has garnered much attention, Geertsen has done freelance design of functional pieces for several commercial ceramics companies, including Ikea.
