Steven Easton

Easton began his artistic studies in 1972 at The Arts Students League in New York City, where he took classes in a variety of mediums. He went on to concentrate in ceramics at the Philadelphia College of Art before pursuing his interest in glass at the Rhode Island School of Design. Easton is now a full time studio artist living and working in Providence, Rhode Island. His studio practice focuses on the exploration of philosophical and classical themes in cast glass, or pâte de verre.
