Michael Glancy is a pioneer of the technique of electroforming. After studying glassblowing techniques with Dale Chihuly at RSID, he discovered that electroforming played more to his interest in physics, geology, chemistry, and geometry. In addition to being represented in numerous public and private collections and receiving several prestigious awards (including a National Endowment for the Arts fellowship), Glancy has taught at RISD's jewelry and metalsmithing department for several years.
