BiographyJohn Iversen left his native Germany at the age of seventeen to enter a four-year apprenticeship in goldsmithing in Vancouver. He returned to Germany to continue his studies at Staatliche Zeichen Academy in Hanau. In the late 1970s he moved to New York City to begin his life long career as jeweler. He is widely known for using "Nature Casting," a casting technique developed in the 18th century, used to create a one of a kind representation of a natural object.Years: France, 1896 – 1985
