Michelle Erickson

BiographyMichelle Erickson has been working with ceramics for many years. She currently owns her own pottery studio in Virginia. Her work is a mixture of past and present, since Erickson creates unique contemporary ceramics work, in addition to working on seventeenth- and eighteenth-century reproduction pottery. Major shows include an annual solo exhibition at the National Academy of Design's New York Ceramics Show, as well as a numerous solo and group exhibitions at galleries in New York, Chicago, and Virginia. Furthermore, Erickson has shared her craft with a wide audience. She has routinely lectured and demonstrated on pottery at historical sites, museums, and schools for more than twenty years.
