BiographyFrank Gehry has had an illustrious career. After working at various architectural firms throughout the United States, he has been the principal designer of Frank O. Gehry & Associates in Los Angeles since 1962. He has designed buildings all over the world, most notably the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, and has received numerous awards and honorary degrees. Gehry is known for his unconventional, fluid architectural forms, as well as his furniture and product design.
Education: B. Arch., University of Southern California, Los Angeles, 1954; studied Urban Planning at Harvard Graduate School of Design, 1956-57
