BiographyMarvin Lipofsky was the first MFA graduate from the country’s first glassmaking program, studying with Harvey Littleton at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. In 1964, Lipofsky established the second glass program in the U.S. at the University of California, Berkeley. He was an extremely influential teacher both at Berkeley and at the California College of Arts and Crafts (now California College of the Arts) where he was head of the glass department.Education: B.F.A.
