BiographyTheodore Randall studied, worked, and taught ceramics at Alfred University over the course of fi ve decades, eventually serving as chairman of art and design. A multi-talented artist, Randall studied architecture, sculpture, industrial design, and ceramics, and was the inventor of an improved potter’s kickwheel. In his graduate student years, he produced a wide range of functional work. His interest in the vessel form continued throughout his life.Years: France, 1896 – 1985
