Biography"Pearson is a full-time artist-craftsman working principally with forged or cast metal. He creates both small one-of-a-kind gold and silver jewelry and large iron and copper accessories, and does as well some limited production work with the aid of his five workshop assistants. In 1952 Pearson, with three other artists, established a retail shop in Rochester, New York, for the sale of the work of some of the nation's finest craftsmen. This venture has been successful and has, at the same time, maintained high standards for quality of workmanship. At present, Pearson is experimenting with iron in combination with copper, silver, and gold."
