BiographyLaura de Santillana studied graphic design before she began her work in glass at her family's factory, Venini glassworks - one of the most important glass producers in Murano, Italy. Both in her work with the factory, eventually as artistic director, and in her independent work as an artist, de Santillana has explored the potential of glass as a material. In recent years, she has also created sculptures in marble and bronze.
