Biography"Unlike most artist-craftsmen working with jewelry, Martin has received no formal training. He cites his experience in industry as having taught him the most of his skills in metalworking. Martin's work, from which he is self-supporting, derives from many primitive influences. After high school, he worked his way around the world, spending several years in Australia and New Guinea, where he came into direct contact with varied cultures."
